The Couch: Introduction

Welcome to a virtual part of our real life living room. The couch you see before you was left by the previous tenants of our old apartment, and used to be pure white. The only remains of the original color can be seen on the front right foot of "The Couch" - the philosophical meaning of which should be painfully obvious. Its current state is a fine example of what you can do with random pieces of corduroy and velvet from the sixties and seventies, a needle and thread, and a whole lot of free time...

Take a moment to sit down on "The Couch" and relax for a moment from the hassles of the day. I would offer you the remote which is typically about a foot in front of "The Couch" in the real world, but the virtual TV is on the fritz.
