Me: History

I was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and immediately after leaving the hospital, moved to St. Paul, the city right next door. Aside from living in an apartment the first week of my life, I lived in the same house until I went to college.

I graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in May of 1995. The best part of my undergraduate years was living right outside Paris, France for a few months in 1994. I love traveling, and learning about other cultures, but I can't seem to get the hang of other languages. However, I can do decent accents and it helped me an amazing amount in my travels.

I got a job at WPI and started my masters degree in biomedical engineering. I never finished the degree because of department and faculty changes, and running out of free time, but it's helped me immeasurably with usability design and problem solving.
