Like a light turned off
Left me in the dark.
I'll never know why
You ran with my heart.

One moment as lovers
The next you were gone.
Ready for always,
Already so long.

I guess I was wrong,
No longer we share.
I will always miss you.
I wish you were there.

I knew it would happen.
A matter of time.
You must follow your road
As I follow mine.

Perhaps it is better
To end it this way.
These thoughts I have thought,
But never could say.
