Philosophy: Drinking

First off, I don't drink.

It has nothing to do with religion as I'm not a very religious person. I'm not a "prude" - I don't care if people around me drink. I don't approve of getting completely drunk and getting sick, but anything less than that is fine with me. That's their choice.

Personally, I just don't see the point. It's fun to be at parties and be completely sober. You can act as silly as you want and people wont think anything of it.

Flirt with anyone you want. If you make a fool out of yourself, they may not remember, or they'll just think you were drunk. Perfect for perfecting your technique... ;^) This one you have to be a little careful with, otherwise you can wake up in the morning thinking to yourself, "I wish I had been drunk last night. Then I'd have a much better excuse for what just happened..."

It's always a challenge to come up with new and inventive ways to really confuse a drunk person. Talk to them while swaying back and forth or in circles. Think up deep philosophical questions and remember their responses for future reference. Stuff like that. I knew a guy who finally understood the theory behind calculus when he was drunk.

Come morning, while everyone is staying in bed with hangovers, you can get up early and play loud music, and recap the juicy details of the night's events to your friends in case they forgot what they did...

Basically, I'm weird enough as it is. I'd hate to see what kind of thoughts I came up with if I got drunk.
