Philosophy: What are you thinking?
Even though two people may like each other, the knowledge of this by both people is not necessarily known. Usually, it's that you don't know if the other person likes you, but sometimes, it's that you don't know that you like them.
Life is always a lot easier if people are forward with their emotions. Although this seems to hold true, few people practice this tradition. If someone is interested in me, I want to know, no matter how I feel about them. If someone tells you, and you feel the same way about them, that's wonderful. If you just think of them as friends, it may be a little awkward at first, but I've found it does work out for the best.
Either way, once you know how people feel towards you, it makes being with them a lot less awkward. Especially in the classic friends or more than friends confusion situation, it makes life so much easier when you know what the other person is really thinking.
It surprises you sometimes how well people will react when you tell them what you really feel toward them. Sometimes the very things you think will end a relationship, are the same things that end up bringing you closer together.
